Wanna' hear the story of my car being in the shop and causing me trauma? OK, cool. So, a few years ago, we were having INCREDIBLY heavy rains, and if you know San Diego at all, you might know that the 94 is very, very poorly engineered, so when it rains particularly hard, the water just sits and pools on the freeway. So, I have to drive on that freeway (or I did) everyday to get to work, and this one day, out of nowhere or rather a big ass plume of mist from the rain (visibility is like 0) this Lexus's tail lights appear. Totaled the front end of my car, but the insurance co. insisted on fixing the fucking thing. Many thousands of dollars worth of work. This naturally took months. San Diego, like LA, is no fun without a fucking car, and, just a little over a month into my isolation my brother took pity on me and took me to a party. Well, at that party I met some of the guys that would eventually be the last, best band that I was in, and to all of my best friends that I still hang out with to this day (like 8 years later, I think), and the coolest period of my life to date.

Anyway, I know it sucks, but hang in, maybe someone will take you to a really cool party. smile
(Sorry to get all Tony Robbins on ya', if we ever meet you can punch me for it. tonguebiggrin)

i had a 1974 convertible bug. i had just put a new engine in it.. and when they do that with bugs, they have to take the wheels off.

well the wheel was apparently not put on well. then it fell off. while i was driving. in a fairly bad neighborhood. heh.. the cop showed up and said "did you call a tow truck? because this isn't an area where a girl like you should be left at in night.."

then he drove off.
