i'm back from kentucky. yay...
1. it really is beautiful there.
2. bowling green, ky is extremely okay.
3. i met some really fuckin' cool people (mostly friends of my friend jynafur). i met cool girls named kim, mel, & elizabeth. and i met cool boys named nathan (supposedly the not evil one), freak, nathan (supposedly the evil one, but he seemed sweet & funny), serge, & emmett. there were also other people i'd like to further explore as they too could possibly be cool.
4. i saw star wars iv (the first one, that is) for the first time ever. i learned that i hate luke. he's a fuckin' tool.
5. i really want to be in bowling green still.
6. i saw my best friend from the first grade through the fifth grade. she's married & is almost 5 months pregnant. it was nice. strange that she's in bg. she hates it there.
7. i met the oldest grandma i know. jyna has a grandma who's 84. she lives in the projects of bg. she talks non-stop in a thick & garbledy-old-person accent about all sorts of random shit. she was talking about a doctor appt. where her bone density was being measured. she kept calling it her "bone destiny," as in "blah blah blah and i got my destiny on thursday..." she was also cool.
8. i am now reconsidering kentucky as a place i might like to live one day. the nature is beautiful, the town is walkable (as it actually has sidewalks), & there are likeminded & likewitted souls present.
9. i think i need to get out of the south. it's done something to me. y'all.
10. i feel strangely alive today. even though i've been drinking for 5 days straight & have had very little sleep.

You do sound rather chipper today so the trip must have done you the world of good. Why not move to Kentucky? I also hear they do a mean Fried Chicken there
