So the @bloghomework assigned this week was " What Are Your Top 5 Songs of All Time? Songs you could listen to over and over again." I decided I had too many songs, but mostly by the same artists so I double up on some #'s who share the band/artist and I will not only provide you with my list of songs, but the songs themselves because they're oh, so worth the listen. <3 In no particular order (because I just can't) here are my top songs of all time:
1. "Peter" - Daughter
and
"Smother" - Daughter
2.) "Little Lion Man" - Mumford and Sons
and
"The Boxer" - Mumford and Sons
3.) "My Boy Builds Coffins" - Florence and The Machine
and
"Falling" - Florence and The Machine
4.) "Almost Lover" - A Fine Frenzy
"Near To You" - A Fine Frenzy
5.) "Hopeless Love" - Daphne Loves Derby
"Pollen and Salt" - Daphne Loves Derby
And my oldies but goodies, that I always get the cheekiest smile on my face and have to sing or hum along:
"Mona Lisa" - Nat King Cole
"A Blossom Fell" - Nat King Cole
"Downtown" - Petula Clark (I could only find the LOST video of the version I like - but that's ok, because LOST!)
"Make Your Own Kind Of Music" - Mama Cass
