Simply put, I am awake at 5-something AM with the world's worst sore throat ever.
Nothing is worse than being sick with a sore throat and knowing you will be spending 8 hours talking on the phone. I am working on that promotion though! What a damned rat-race, huh?
I look at some of the other girls here, especially the SG's and wonder somehow if life isn't just easier when not rushing against the corporate ladder. And yet, that is my choice.
I suppose on some end I need to just remember that it's probably no easier being footloose and fancy-free, as it were.
