I have really got to post here more often. Although, I must say I did better in the interview than I thought. And my networking has at long last paid off. I got an acting managerial job to fill in the spaces in experience that I need. Do well here, and I'll be set for the permanent. Here in town still. Own team for the...

I know you have been a fan of my work in the past, so I figured I would let you know my new film is posted in my journal today. Come check it out before YT pulls it down.

I had a second round interview at my company for a management position. I had an anxiety attack prior. A stupid anxiety attack. I felt so intimidated because the interview seemed geared towards highlighting my lack of formal leadership experience.

I feel so discouraged. Maybe I'm playing out side of my league... Maybe this is all I can be. Boy doesn't that suck a whole...

You? Anxiety? Shee-it, you're one of the strongest personalities I've met in a long time. Quit freakin' and start throwin' that Moon-Goddess shit down!
Glad to see you're still around, too.

I came to Arizona over the Easter weekend to be with my parents and to come and see my grandparents. It's just the second day here and Grandpa is heading to the doctor's. His oxygen levels are really low and he is coughing like crazy, a very loose type of cough.

He is in his 90's, as is my grandmother and it seems that death's...

I was glad to see you posted, but was saddened to hear about what you are going through. I have lost all of my grandparents and regret not having spent much time with them at the end.

Simply put, I am awake at 5-something AM with the world's worst sore throat ever.

Nothing is worse than being sick with a sore throat and knowing you will be spending 8 hours talking on the phone. I am working on that promotion though! What a damned rat-race, huh?

I look at some of the other girls here, especially the SG's and wonder somehow if...

Happy returns and New year's to all. No I haven't died yet. As a matter of fact, quite the opposite. Bleh. It's been a long couple of months with a lot of action going on in the professional world. I've decided to make a real run at this professional thing and am still waiting to hear from Nebraska about the job offer or if I'm...

I have managed to stay away for a month. Hm. Truthfully I've been busy. Trying to get this career thing launched. I've done 6+ interviews since the last time for a variety of positions. And the next one is in Thursday for supervisor in Lincoln, NE. I'm tired.

This holiday season is not being particularly good. I was looking forward to going to OH to...

I hope you get some of your holiday plans worked out. I'm flying to Ohio on Saturday, and I actually can't believe that I got the time off. It seemed to be some sort of miracle or something. Good luck with your tires and job search. I HATE buying tires, and usually have to get retreads until i've got the cash for new ones. haha. Happy Holidays girl!

... it is what it is.. seems like the phrase of the decade in my vocabulary. Nice to know the sentiment reaches out across the universe. I always figure that when I am getting down there is always a limit or rock bottom and at some point you will have nowhere to go but up.. it really up to us when we start climbing. You dont really seem that down, but you make me smile and I think you are very nice.

Update for updates sake. I don't think the interview on Friday went well. This week has been stressful. Work with no goal in sight. God I need a vacation. I need it so bad.

Glad I didn't pick my nose during the interview.... I am one of the 7 people out of 100+ applicants that is in the program now. It's a mentoring program for if you want to be a supervisor.

Other news, I got an interview this friday for a job i had applied for an never expected to get an interview for: customer care operations supervisor...

All the days gone by:

Today I had an interview with the worst interviewers I've ever encountered. They didn't look at me once while I was speaking. They wrote copious notes though. Amateur interviewers. I wanted to pick my nose to see if they noticed.

God its apparent there are a lot of leaders with no talent.

I am tired of having to put on a dog and pony show to keep people's attention spans in interviews. But I just don't care for people who can't look someone in the eye, be pleasant, or keep from blatantly looking at their watch. I had one person stop my interview so she could call in her lunch order and then talk to a co-worker to see if they wanted something.

Waste of time.

LOL, you SO should have picked your nose - would have been funny!!
btw, you were right! i applied again and this time, SG accepted my application smile thanks for the pep talk, you rock!

Desert Daydream- rejected set

I started that lovely time of the month. Early. I stayed home since I have a day I can do it on and am glad I did. I feel exhausted, beat up, and can barely move. Yay for periods... bleh
