Ok, I feel worlds better. Thanks.
I need to learn how to drift. It looks like so much fun.
I'm going to Laguna Seca for a "Driving School" (read: drive as fast as you can) with BMW CCA. I'm so excited, I'll finally get to really push my new car. Plus, it'll be really nice to get some track time in, and work on my cornering skills - which are improving, insofar as GT3 is concerned. But real life? I need time on the track!
I'm hoping to break 140 mph on the front straight. If I hit turn 11 decently it should be possible.
I hope I don't nail any walls. That would suck hard.

Yea.. adjustable coilovers rock.. I actually have Ground Controls on my car which makes for a nice option of dropping the car @ the track events.. and I'm sure the M3 ( or I'd be suprised if it didn't) has adjustable camber built into the suspension system, but I've also got a fully adjustable camber kit all the way around, so I can run the wheels -30 degrees if I want to..
I drive a Honda CRX... Nothing too snazzy.. It's a 90 SI..
It's got a bit of work done to it.. Greddy SP Catback Exhaust, DC Sport Ceramic Header, DC Sport DAC Intake, DC Sport Short-throw Shifter, Overbored Throttle Body, Adjustable Camber Kit, Coilovers currently dropped 2 inches...and the interior is completely gutted. It's light, fast, and fun to drive.. but it loves the track the best. Occasionally I have a problem keeping the rear end in line because there is no weight back there, but I can usually manage to keep it under control.
So you used to live in Portland right? I assume then you are familiar with the S Curves getting onto the Ross Island Bridge from the West side of the river? The other night I was going through the curves, and there was a guy with a 98 M3 wrapped around a pole.. apparently he was taking it too fast and let the rear swing out too much and destroyed it.
I'd love to go check out Laguna Seca.. I've seen the Atlanta Motor Speedway.. but haven't had a chance to check anything out on the west coast yet.
Edited to add: Here's a pic of my car..
CRX
