well, I passed audition #1 for grad school (University of Central Florida). University of Kentucky this weekend... then 3 more to go!

Florida was awesome, got to stay with one of my good friends that I haven't seen in a while, and my best friend was able to make the trip with me. it was a short one, but we made the best of it....

go show some love to Rexx's sets. so many are still in member review, and I have no idea why. she's one of my favorites on here, and deserves to have all of her sets promoted. let's make it happen

me either! hopefully they like it haha thanks for this nice blog post too! and yes pig destroyer was a favorite of mine for a long time and i had given up on them until book burner as well. but i streamed it as soon as it was available and was like holy fuck, pig destroyer is baaaaaaaackkkkkkk!!! i'm not really a huge grindcore fan generally but man. i just love them. i guess they appeal to a lot of different genres though
matttracy:
of course =] and that's true, I used to be into a lot of subgenres of grind, from like Pig Destroyer to Locust to early Cattle Decapitation, but I can only really handle the more grind/metal crossover like PD now lol

Anyone who hasn't checked out Tangerine's new set, Red Hot, you need to do so immediately. She is way too beautiful, and this set is amazing.

That is all for now...

I think it's about time for a new post...

Over the weekend, I got to play with 3 of my colleagues in an event here called Nights of a Thousand Candles. It is quite possibly the biggest holiday event around, at this nature preserve here in Myrtle Beach, and I can't tell you how happy I was to be apart of this. The people seemed...

Nothing really new over here, but figured I'd right something... Currently taking a break from studying for the GRE so I can get into grad school next fall. Saw Skyfall the other night, great movie. Daniel Craig, you are one sexy man, and make a great James Bond.

Found out I get to go see Cattle Decapitation in two weeks, as well as Between The...

nice. smile the show was fucking awesome. magrudergrind was sick and of course ehg killed it. just thinking back to it gives me chills. ahhh. love sometimes i feel like there is hardly anyone in the world i can get on with conversation-wise. a handful might even be an exaggeration. i'm better with the written word i guess, but either way. i'd rather hang out by myself any day or night than go out just to go out and pull a bunch of meaningless drizzle out of my asshole to respond to the inevitable making of conversation haha i'm starting to think this is why i hate every job i have. the small talk and relentless job-oriented complaining with co-workers really kills me. luckily at the moment i can just wear my headphones all day. hopefully someday i'll figure out some sort of meaningful means of bringing home the bacon. i seem to be in a rut of very unfulfilling jobs.but oh well. it could be worse than making popcorn and listening to metal haha sorry i just started babbling on there and got off topic. i hope you have an awesome weekend! smile
matttracy:
I'm so glad to hear that. and still wicked jealous haha I missed the Cattle Decapitation show, because I wasn't feeling well, and I still hate myself for it haha

and I am the same way. as is my best friend, which is why we get along so well. we say things when they should be said, and can keep a conversation up with each other, but if nothing needs to be said then we shut the fuck up and enjoy our time in silence haha ah, if I was gay, I'd marry that man... hahaha

I know I've asked you this before, but what do you do again? I'm the exact same way, this is way too fuckin weird haha I tried doing retail in various places, and about killed someone after dealing with people all day. my last few jobs have been pretty solid, only working with maybe one other employee, yet I don't have to talk to them at all. usually just listen to music all day. that's the way to go.

this is so awesome, to know I'm not the only one out there... haha my weekend was a blast, hope yours was as well. keep in touch!
