** UPDATED WITH PICTURES**
Im seriously looking into going back to studying again. I absolutely fucked university last time, ok so i had some difficult issues at the begining of my third year which was the catalyst for it all collapsing but I refuse to blame them, I could have handled them better but i did not. I feel like i really did not grasp the whole university experience, well maybe the sterotypical 'lazy stoner student' bit but none of the other stuff which i really regret. Also i feel stupider now than when i went to university, im pretty sure i know less at least. Also i did not enjoy my degree and its getting me no where. I cant get a job so i think more studying seems wise so im currently looking into my options.
Either way im going to have to get a job between now and then, which isnt going to be easy but i need the money if i am to have a hope of affording this. But i am looking at two options.
1) Open university -This is the cheaper option, but requires me to actually have the money rather than a student loan style option, though to be fair i have no idea how much student loan i would even get as a mature student. Also the open university is not really 'respected' but still, i would be glad of the qualifications and i think its cheaper over all though i would need the money up front.
2) Going to Canterbury or Brighton or London universities - Canterbury Christchurch is a crappy uni, but its close and i like canterbury a lot, its a nice place. Brighton also very nice and close, and probably a better uni, and london same story. Upside of this is that i can hopefully get a student loan for this method, and also id actually go to uni again and hopefully that would be more of an experience, hopefully make some new friends and what not and do the things i didnt do the first time around.
I have decided i want to do Law, i think it would be very interesting and i think it would certainly be better then my current degree which is useless. Also i think it would actually make use of the things that i am good at, trying to think of what i would be good at and what would be useful rather than 'what looks the most interesting' and to be fair, im pretty interested in law.
If anyone has studied law, or gone to any of those unis, or used the open university i would really appreciate some input, or if you have gone to university as a mature student i would love to hear what sort of loans and such are avaliable to you.
I think this is the smart option long term, i need to talk to my parents about it though because its a big move and i know they will be worried i will not enjoy it or do badly like i did in Reading, i am slightly worried myself but i genuinely think i have grown up a lot since then and if i can get a job and save some money they will see how serious i am about it.
Anyway so now i will add other things
* i actually dont remember the last time i had sex and actually enjoyed it. Frankly sex scares the shit out of me these days.
* I am addicted to dirty talk apparantly, txt, msn, and during sex, im actually addicted to it haha
* I have never broken a bone, appart from maybe my little toe when i went to kick a baloon and kicked my bed frame but you cant do anything about a broken little toe so i just left it.
* Never had a nose bleed
* Lemonade is my favorite drink ever.
* I have never eaten sushi
* I have never seen Bambi
* I hate being naked, even on my own, i always wear underwear it makes me feel safe
* I hate walking around outside without shoes on...unless its the beach or a bouncy castle.
* When i was a kid i used to hate having baths so much that once my mum snapped and threw all my toys in bin bags, she literally emptied my room. I had a bath eventually and she gave them back.
* I am now a bath person, i love baths.
* I really fancy Fiona Bruce from BBC news and the Antiques Roadshow.
