I spent a bunch of yesterday losing my soul in the mall.
Why, you ask?
Well, at rehearsal on Wednesday I was told, for the first time in the history of the universe, that I looked too girly.
The hell? But I'm one of the boys! It is nice to have them notice I'm a girl, but the timing's sort of inconvenient.
Anyway, I was told I needed a pants suit, so I went out and got one. It's dead sexy, if I do say so myself.
I also got a new pair of birkenstocks. Yay! I have been without appropriate sandals for ages.
I'm spending today doing theatre administrative stuff. Ah, the chores nobody else wants. What fun! I haven't left my computer in hours.
If anybody here wants to know, this is the show I'm plugging.
"Two Guys, a Couch, and the Fate of the World"
When: Sept. 14 2 pm, Sept. 14-17 8 pm, Sept. 21-24 8 pm
Where: The Easterbrook Theatre, Building A3, 2633 Hochwald Ave. SW, Calgary, Alberta
Synopsis: Top Secret Agent Dirk Rhombus is out to save the world from a deadly weather satelliteor, rather, top Canadian agent Janet DuBois is out to save the world from a deadly virusor possibly some sort of combination. It all depends if playwrights Phil and Chris can stop bickering long enough to write the script. It's a spy comedy and a look at the writing process all in one, from non-bickering (sort of) playwrights Jason Garred and Dan Gibbins.
I'm in it, as is one of the playwrights, our own danny_g.
Now I'm hungry. Must make sandwich.

So, let's see if I've got this straight. Women I am not interested in will be interested in me because I'm not interested in them. Women I am interested in will not be interested in me because I AM interested in them.
Or something to that effect. Sadly I think your theory holds water if last night was any basis!
Oh, I so have to lie own now. My brain may have melted.
Wait. So, if I just more or less ignore everyone, sooner or later someone I was interested in would also be interested in me due to the fact that I was ignoring her?????
