I could not have said it better.

That being said....I have a die-hard American as a roommate, and he asked my beliefs on the war...and being the ass that I am, I pointed at my enormous Iraq flag hanging above my bed, and said, "I definitely support this war, no question about that bro." He didn't like that too much. Why? :-(
