Thanks for the great night last everyone, I really had fun. It's always really nice to be someplace you truly want to be rather than a place where you are expected to be and don't want to be at, from all of the people who I have seen before, to the new faces I put to old board names, once again everybody was chill, and me, FEJ and Eric went off for a good couple hours on OC punk rock bands, and music in general.
We were all pretty much in agreement that TSOL's "Change Today", and Agent Orange's "Living in Darkness" are two of the greatest punk rock records in history.
Honestly, all of you guys have made living down here bearable again, please know that I appreciate all of you even if I don't say it up front, like someone said last night at the party (sorry, I was really drunk) "awww he's shy" - she was right, i'm not saying that I am incapable of being assertive, but generally i'm the quiet kid that sits in the corner by himself and doesn't talk much, I'm the kid who remains silent in large groups of people and observes what everybody else is doing, how they treat each other, small signs, how they show affection to one another, and how they fight about trivial topics.
I just want to say, there have been times in the past where people have gotten this vibe that I didn't like them because I don't talk alot.
That's not the case, I guess I just don't believe in spouting off about meaningless drivel just for the sake of doing so.
Anyway, it's 4am, and I have work in the morning but I can't sleep, i'm writing a review for the new Hot Water Music record for one of our sites, I haven't written a review in quite awhile, and i'm a natural perfectionist, so those two elements mixed together have given me a little case of writer's block.. I have the album on repeat in my laptop, i'm a fan of the band anyway, but I just can't.. flow.
Maybe i'm losing it, I don't know.. anyway, back to work I go, hope to see all of you soon.
One Love.

about hot water music though, i could never get into them for some reason. it's funny, my friend jason and i both have "our" bands. like i really like sleater kinney, and he really likes hot water music, but neither of us can stand eachothers bands.
good luck on the write up though. and i'm sure i'll see you at future SG events.
