'My dad, 70, made it through his heart surgery very well. He was home a week after surgery and is doing well.

In other positive news, my (soon to be ex) wife and I agreed to a split custody plan which means more time, and more overnight visits, with my kids.

Oh yeah, marriage equality happened since I last posted, too. Welcome to the 20th century, USA.
