Blech! I'm trying for back-to-back-to-back winters this year.. I don't handle heat well at all. You'd like the cold, I'm sure.
Because nothing feels more alive than a cold, crisp winter morning: where the sun shines so bright through particle-free, clear blue sky that is so clear, that the centre of the sky is almost dark like you can look straight through. The sun glitters off every snow particle so blindingly, beautifully intense that you can feel it as pressure on the backs of your orbits. You breathe in and the cold air rushes, tangible, swirling, freezing down through your nose and throat to branch into your lungs.
Now that's alive.
But now we're into the "hot" winter days, where you're stripped to a tee, hiking the pipe and the snow feels more like rough sand when you land in it than cold at all.
