Yesterday was probably the most brutal sparring session yet. My shins are polka-dotty with little greenish brown bruises, I have random bruises on some of the bonier parts of me (which these are par for the course really) I got surprised by a pair of kicks to the head, and my ear on the one side isn't hearing quite as good as the other one right now, my one leg was kicked out right above the knee by a 250+ pound guy (feels kinda like a charley horse that just won't go away, and it doesnt really want to cooperate when I want to bend it too much) and I got popped one good one in the face and got a bit of a bloody nose (although, this session 3 other people got them too, and before this, I had never seen more than maybe 2 from all other sessions combined) So, all in all, it was an exciting light sparring class last night. Injury builds character.
