Venezuela had its recall election decision over the weekend- and even more important that President Chavez kicked his opponents ass again (Chavez was undermined by American interests because he was not as friendly towards the big-oil companies as his opponent; he actually cared about the welfare of his populace over money [he's the Anti-Bush, if you will]) is that there was a 95% voter turnout. Ninety-five percent of all eligible voters turned out. Now I think if there is ANY country that should have the right to tell people how democracy should work, Venezuela is it.

I read a headline about that election but I didn't read the story. Wow! Nice to know there are some decent polticians out there somewhere!
