So I'm feeling pretty restless at this point. Lingering about in an empty house has gotten a bit tiresome - not to mention that we kinda feel like squatters here.
This is what our living room looks like - and the rest of the house is just as empty except for the upstairs bedroom which has the mattress we sleep on and our clothes.
I find it unsettling not to have a place to put stuff. It makes me feel all scattered.
I suppose I wouldn't be dwelling on this if our settlement date hadn't just been extended to April 5th.
*sigh*
I realize it's only 5 additional days.
But I'm just chomping at the bit to get the hell out of this house - it holds so many icky memories - and so much unpleasantness has gone on here...it's as if the house has a really negative mojo.
Well - for us anyway. I'm sure the new owners won't feel this vibe.
Ohhh well. I'll just keep working on my book and try to keep occupied until we can GO already
I'll go do some more internet apartment browsing in the West Hollywood area and try to get into the sunny LA mindset!
