Buds bursting from their nooks in branch nodes; leaves shyly unfurling to reveal themselves to the sun's first rays; tree sap coursing through the forest waking it from it's deep slumber; crocuses pushing through the last snow clumps like warriors of color here to deliver us from the bleakness that was a dying winter.
