This is my blog. It is going to be exclusively about my love of produce and ladies with limps:
I'll start with armenian cucumbers. They got this particular name because they were first grown in Finland, where the king at the time was convinced he was Greek but his handlers assured him he was Macedonian.
Oh, so delicious. So dense and umm, cucumbery. But more rich than standard english cucumbers. And so much prettier. Oh, and no peeling necessary; in fact the rind portion makes up about 75% of the fruit depth and is the most delicious part. Armenian cucumbers are overtaking my garden at the moment, long since having taken over my heart.
