We've had an extra month of Summer here in the upper Midwest. The trees are as green as if it were July. It's hard to believe that in only three weeks the trees will be bare and we will be stuck in sleating rain and wanting to stay in with our tootsies cozy in new socks tea cozies on our tea pots. But today it is August. It is 87 and humid, with thunderstorms threatening. I do like Fall here, but it all lasts too long, so every extra day of Summer is welcome, even if waiting for the inevitable chill of November is like waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Why thank you I have two more rabbits - lionheads though. Where in the Midwest are you?
