I'm feeling more and more gray, my friends. Thanks for a great couple of years!

My bunny is dreaming. She is half moving her little feet as if she were running. Her eyes are rolled down, and I can see the irises. Her ears twitch A moment ago whe let out a yell that sounded like a sweaky toy. She is very cute, but I wonder sometimes if she isn't epileptic. Whatever she is, I do love her so!

We've had an extra month of Summer here in the upper Midwest. The trees are as green as if it were July. It's hard to believe that in only three weeks the trees will be bare and we will be stuck in sleating rain and wanting to stay in with our tootsies cozy in new socks tea cozies on our tea pots. But today it...

Sitting here at work on a Saturday avoiding work and feeling slightly naughty about being on the site while at work. What's shakin', Bacon.
schadenfreude:
At least you can access the site from work. Damn Catholics, blocking my internet usage at work.

Why are you working on a Saturday anyway?? Yuck. Double yuck. Call sucks.

Thanks for the compliment. wink What attending wouldn't want to pin me against a cryostat!? And dahling, I will check your margins anytime.

Maybe you're right about my program director being weird about the driving thing because of his own past. None of my offenses have ever involved anything beyond plain old speeding -- no reckless, no DUI, whatever -- and I told him that. He turned a deaf ear. As usual. Now I'm instantly relegated to law-breaking scourge, in his twisted little mind. *sigh* I hope you've taken a similar vow as I have, to never treat underlings the same crappy way you were treated as a peon.

Good luck with the ultrasound. Raise the kid on some jazz huh? biggrin

I have some Dexter...I may put that on later. I've been listening to jazz all day anyway

Nothing much to say. Once again I'm getting the feeling that my time here is limited. Of course, I've survived those feelings before. whatever

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY -A LETTER FROM JOHN ADAMS TO ABIGAIL ADAMS :
Philadelphia

July 3, 1776

Evening

To Abigail:

Had a declaration of independence been made seven months ago, it would have been attended with many great and glorious effects. We might, before this hour, have formed alliance with foreign states. We should have mastered Quebec, and been in possession of Canada.

You will,...

I think it sounded delicious. Beans, beef, that liquid faux cheese, sour cream, etc. with a nice crispy tostada thing in the middle... all bundled up with love in a tortilla.... I was so ridiculously overexcited about this, so when it ended up sucking I was crushed. The tostada thing in the middle was all soggy which totally defeated the purpose. I was so sad.
