This past week the weather has been great. Temperature around 70, slightly cloudy and a nice gentle breeze. I have noticed the leaves have been dropping earlier than usual and before changing color but we haven't really had any rain in over two weeks so probably not going to be a good viewing fall.

Got a good view over the valley from the top of a hill today. The owners family used to own a few hundred acres of farm land here but it was more profitable to sell off parts of it. Still some nice family farms out here but getting fewer to corporations are acquiring them.

Good news. I became a great uncle again yesterday but to a baby boy for the first time. Not that it means much but the family name will continue on for a while longer.

So my niece is getting married in a somewhat unconventional manner that I totally wish I had done. Having a big party tonight and a very small private service on all hallows eve.
