Just got back from Wizard World Texas. It was a fun show, which marked the official launching of my comic, SubCulture. While the book won't be available in stores until early April, I did print up some with a second cover that will be sold exclusively at conventions until they run out.
Here is a copy of the regular cover, by indy favorite Jim Mahfood:
To my pleasant surprise, Suicide Girls actually had a booth set up at the show to try to get more members. Among the cutie-pies there were Aijin, Saint, and Doxie, who were nice enough to pose for a couple of cell-phone pics for me, particularly after they found out I was a card-carrying member. They were a lot of fun--thanks for flirting with me
I also got to see my folks for a few hours, as the Friday during WWTX has turned into a traditional italian-restaurant night out with them and my brother and his family.
Next weekend, I rest. Nothing to do. Woo hoo!
We're also home for Thanksgiving, so if anyone in the neighborhood has plans for that weekend, do let us know!
