I need an SG recharge...it's been WAY to long since I got together with the SGNC group (or anyone else in SG for that much) and people are starting to become blurry. There looks like there will be a couple of get-togethers before the end of the summer. Let's hope they don't (again) fall on weekends where I am out of town.

Other news that might be of interest to some folks:

My for-money fantasy baseball team sucks to this point. 11th place out of 12 is a position I am not used to being in. But injuries and my players getting traded to the national league have killed me. I'm now officially trying to position myself for next year.

SubCulture is coming along well. Stan has the first 18 pages, plus the cover, of the first issue complete. Me, I'm about halfway done with the script for issue #2. We're still on target for a November-ish limited release, and probably January nationwide. I'll start promoting the book at Wizard World Chicago here in a couple of weeks. I'll be Xeroxing together a ffew eight-page previews, and I have ordered some stickers that I'll be giving away at the show.

I've been a big lazy sack of shit other than that this week. Lots of City of Heroes, internet surfing, and reading. I don't feel TOO much guilt though, although I'm going in to work for a spell today.
