So I totally went to Miami..


Made it to South Beach.. complete with traffic and construction..


Loved the shit out of some palm trees..


Threw on a bikini and jumped in a taxi...


Made it to Nikki Beach (umm.. don't be fooled, you can't actually swim in the ocean or get to the real beach, this is really just a big sandbox with music and shade... lol)


Kicked it with Bo and Cindy on the VIP day bed they purchased... helped them drink 6n bottles of Ciroc vodka, too..


Met this girl Molly who everyone was looking for... hahaa!



Got left at Nikki Beach.. caught a cab back to the jankity hotel, got locked out, called the room.... discovered Peter, Emily, and I were going to be sharing the room with Sarah (who answered the room phone), Jesse (her man), and Adam (he was nice!) who were all from KC too. LOL Surprise!!! So they left, I climbed into bed... and 4 interruptions and a hotel room party later.. 14 hours in bed with no sleep. Rough.


So Friday (I think it was Friday? I can't really remember everything quite right..) we went to a pool party at the Shelborne hotel to see Steve Lawler ( http://mixing.dj/2012/livesets/steve-lawler-live-wmc-2012-viva-music-pool-party-shelborne-south-beach-miami-23-03-2012/ His DJ mix from that day..) with Adam and Sarah


and Emily (ugh... if anyone has seen Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas... pretend to be the mostly sober person following her around while she attempts to recreate it.. BOO!)


while I enjoyed the sun and several Malibu and diet coke drinks..


with Adam, Emily, Peter, Jesse, and Sarah all dancing and kickin' it with me.


On the way back to the jankity hotel after Lawler before Cameo, we ran into statues of Hello Kitty characters..


I took no pictures of Saturday night at Cameo when I saw Mark Knight and Umeck, but I had to change clothes twice before they would let me in the door... jerks!! So here's the Beach early on Saturday, with Peter...








And then at sunset we moved to the Fontaine Bleu hotel, which was super nice...




I watched the city breathe...




Saw a marathon set by Markus Schults (AMAZING!!!) at club Space (locations in 11 nations..!!)





Got invited to Bo and Cindy's wedding in August...


was almost stranded in Miami, but at the last minute Emily fixed the fuck-up by getting me a room at the Holiday Inn... A super nice one!



I got to sunbathe all day Monday in recovery... I know I skipped Sunday, but that was mostly sleeping and panicking because everyone was leaving before me and from a MUCH closer airport... I thought I was going to be stuck in Florida!



So then I got up super early Tuesday and found a way to West Palm Beach to catch my flight, flew threw heaven, and got back home to Kansas City.
