It's been a while and I suppose every person has one of those days, weeks or months where they simply disappear. I'm not sure if this means I'll be back, though.

1. It turns out, from my own un-doing, that I will not be going to Colorado. Whether or not this is a good or bad thing has yet to be determined. Maybe I'm too self conscious or just plain selfish, but parading around with high-society is not my idea of a good time. As a result, I'm fairly sure I've burned some familial bridges in the process -- let them blow off some steam and c'est la vie, dammit.
2. Two of my good friends, one being a wonderful co-worker, have left for Portland. This town won't be the same and I hope they don't get sucked back into this black hole. If leaving was a jumping-off point in the grand scheme of life, I expect to see this guy on SNL one day. He's that funny.
3. Yeah, that about covers it.
4. The Belle + Sebastian show was amazing. See them live, sing along, and laugh out loud. While on my Bay Area adventure, I bought We Shall All Be Healed by The Mountain Goats. That's some addictive music, yo. Speaking of shows, Rasputina is not too far off now.
