So, my car has officially bit the dust. It's kind of liberating. I no longer have to pay through the arse for fuel. Or for a parking spot. Nor do I subject myself to the frustration that is other idiots on the road. Plus, this is Denver, not LA or Det, I can survive without a car.
At least until the winter.
I'll finally get around to getting that fixed gear I've been eyeing.
Unfortunately, it appears to be the end of my burning man aspirations. I've been twice, and I'd like to go this year, but there are other things taking priority. Well, two things taking priority. I can afford to pay for two of the following three by the end of the year:
1. Fix My Transmission.
2. Visit London, as my friend is on 6 mo. assignment and I can stay for free.
3. Go to Burninman.
Well, #3 is getting the ax. Mostly. I'm still leaving the vacation time marked, I'm just not planning on going. However, if anything synchronous falls into place, I'm there.
Thus, in an effort to get my finances in order, this evening is spent chillin. Maybe some dvds, or some video games. I'm kind of worn out from going under the tattoo gun anyhow.
P.S.
Anyone wanna lotion my newest work? I cant reach the bottom.

glad you have a positive outlook on the car situation. I've had times where my Z is out of commission for months at a time. it sucks not having a car, but you're right - it's liberating (plus, I live near SF, so there's good public transit).
