I know it's hard to imagine it. Hard to tell. By the "scars on my arms and the cracks in my hips", as the song says. Or by the layers of dust still settled on my cheeks and eyelids. Most of all, you may not be ready to believe it when there's still snow on the ground, and threatening in the clouds. But..
"winter's gonna end I'm gonna clean these veins again. So close to dying that I finally can start living."
Maybe that doesn't sound very poitive to some of you, but in mouse-land, that is lifting one's face up to the sun and breathing and even smiling and *moving* and *being* instead of just sleeping and hiding.
Yes, a mixture of general lifestyle change and premature spring fever has me feeling... better. Yes. Better, goddammit. And i think things in general are getting better every day. You just have to believe it.
(except my computer, which falls apart more and more with every passing moment. I think it is held together these days with rubber bands and fishing wire.)
