Katrina killed my brain. Or something did. Since the evacuation, I have no short term memory, and zero attention span. I'm getting rather annoying to anyone around me because of this. I generally have no interest in anything anymore. I wonder how long this will last.

I have no idea what you're going through. But I'm sure it's devastating. There's nothing that will replace all the memories you have of your hometown and your own livelihood. I only hope and pray most of this disaster gets the relief it really needs. And unfortunately, nobody in Washington, DC gives a shit.
