how come flights are so expensive? i just want to go home and see my family.. and its gunna cost me 620!!!!!!

Ouch. I may go skiing in Canada next year and it won't leave much left for beer money at those prices.

On a related note. I have an uncle in Thunder Bay and I can call him for 1 pence per minute using my telephone. I saw a link on SG ages ago about www.1899.com, which you use with an ordinary telephone. I don't call him enough and they have not charged me so far... I guess you know that you can call for free over the Internet with Skype, but I don't need a computer with the 1899 service, which is great for my technophobe uncle.

P.S. On your last journal entry. Yes I would go home if I was unhappy, but then again its not -40 in England wink
