As to the last five words, I wholeheartedly concur. White hot, baby! And, to take a sixth step back, I too am grateful to have the hospitalty of your's. To volley your comment at 5 1/2 paces, those pretty birds segway mythos, and excite so much vernacular, as to summon inviolate laws that go well beyond this earth and shift to sit as keys flitting between worlds. Thanks.

i completely agree...i am weary of hearing of death and destruction...i put forth my will and intent to give my peace to the world annd healing...i am so tired of the corrupt in power and abusing their position of authority...i date a middle eastern man, so i see only hate burning brightly behind bush's beady eyes...i see nothing else but a puppet on a string... smile wink peace

All right, all right...You got me. I meant to say "diameter". Either way, the steak was huge. And delicious. I'm such a carnivore!

I love haiku. My buddy and I will sit in his car for hours and write haiku about the most random things.

Here are 2 haikus, one from years ag, and one from today that i realized was one, haha

Spiders whisper their
silk song dreaming of kingdoms
spun in golden webs

I can rant and I
can rave but it is only
lessons that I crave

cheesy, the last one smile
hotpinkauras:
thank you for your honesty...i usually stay away from these, anyway, but i will remember that for the future. The spider one was always one of my favorites...i often just have random thoughts, that was one of them...a long time ago smile

A journal entry from 1987. Happily, nothing has changed.

In the head we discover realities of the universe vis-a-vis subject and object, up and down, black and white, good and bad. The mind teaches us form, fit and function, a symmetry of past and future relatively unconcerned with now. It is the heart that teaches us of the youniverse within this moment, beyond which is...

"youniverse", i like that word. if i remember right, it was deepak chopra who wrote "you are not in the world, the world is in you." we are all creators, because every day the brain creates the universe inside your head out of a jumble of electrochemical impulses.... really makes me ponder on just what the word God means to me. haven't quite got it figured out yet, but i think that collective consciousness thing has something to do with it smile

Journal Entry 1989 -

...the search after truth - inner personal individual truth and the constant struggle to live it, to become truth and to see the face of god.

-nope not much has changed.

Many thanks for your well wishes. I really appreciate it. Every day is better than the one before it so I know I'm recovering well. It's been most humbling to have so many people (both in real life and in cyber space) send words of encouragement.

Thanks again from the bottom of my heart. It's nice to hear from a fellow Portlander. smile

Do you get to go to Cannon Beach often? I love Cannon Beach.

Hmmm Jack and clean furnaces filters? sounds like a nice afternoon.

PS I felt awful after the last email I sent you- I hit send before I put it through the magical spell check or proof read it very carefully...I've found that I've become to dependent on my computers help to write grammatically.

I see this... and I never thought I would see my name included in a list of such greats. I'm humbled.

thank you for taking the time to write that comment. i'm glad i made sense to you. i don't think my repertoire of past reading could ever fill all the categories in that list, but that's one of the reasons for my vow to read more books.. if you ever want to recommend any reading material you think might suit me, please feel free. smile

. . . . so yeah its pretty amazing when youre sitting up front at full altitude, looking out a window to the west. Its like youre far enough forward so the engines are just kind of a dull drone. And I guess the timing is important too. I mean for me its like the end of the week, you know?, when Im headed home;...

Thank you...actually I know I'm going to be ok - and no one is saying that I'm not wonderful, I'm just hitting a point where I feel very alone. It will pass...
