pretty much my entire weekend was devoted to half life 2 and the world cup, tho i did manage to break out of my dorky endeavors to slobberknock on saturday and brunch on sunday.
what can i say about half life 2 that hasn't already been said? even 2 years later, it's still the greatest game ever made... one that has ruined all other games for me. it's gorgeous to look at, and it's artistic style manages to further the oppressive, somber feeling of the story and narration. while i'm playing i find myself feeling bad for the depressed NPCs with their forlorn looks and movements.
off to go home for lunch and watch the US game! gotta love working 8 blocks away.

The distance would kill us, though.

The important question though, is wether or not you walked around throwing bottles at everybody in the beginning of the game. That Gordon's a bottle throwing addict, I tell ya!
