I never really found myself to be the kind of person to get excited about the holidays. I don't think I'm a scrooge or anything, but there is a major reason why I take my vacations in early December. To get away from the forced hectic stress of it all, especially in NYC. That and snowboarding. This of course is coming from someone currently crammed on a standing room only bus out of Port Authority on xmas eve.
That being said, I actually enjoyed myself shopping in the crazy Disney Store on 5th ave. Probably the last place people wanna be on xmas eve. Sometimes my thoughts crack myself up. Like I couldn't bring myself to buy my niece this tinkerbell shirt because tinkerbell is totally lame so I got her this cool pink Princess hoodie instead. Why exactly do I even go through that thought process when I know she likes tinkerbell? Guess I shouldn't xmas shop stoned.
Afterwards I went to the swanky Stone Rose lounge in columbus circle to see my friend Matt before heading back downtown to catch this bus. He showered me in expensive champagne, tequila, wine, and filet, while I chatted with his coworkers. All on the house. Now that's a holiday.

That does sound like quite a nice holiday. Lets find some champagne in the New Year and sip sip sip...
