Highlights from a July 4th roof-top party (as I remember them):
First and foremost - spending time w/ a horribly depressed friend and being able to make her laugh and forget about the tough times she's been going through - even if only for a little while.
Second - Chimay and smores
Third - Fireworks every which direction we looked
Fourth - Getting so pissed drunk w/ friends that even stupid shit was hilariously funny (and wacky hilarity ensued)
Fifth - Screaming out an impromptu and heavily improvised version of "Philadelphia Girls" to the night sky (with apologoes to Brian Wilson)
sixth - Mooning a police helicopter while under its spotlight
seventh - Matt's AMAZING tofu salad
And countless other "little things" that do not translate well in the written medium - you kinda had to be there. Those things are, afterall, the little "in jokes" that get us through our busy days.
Hope you all had a happy 4th, too.

I'm glad you had a good 4th. Besides driving alot I ate really good vegan food, walked in the ocean, and saw the Michael Moore movie.
