Well the tournament didn't end exactly the way I wanted it to. Essentially, I fought a guy from Rorion Gacie's school, rushed him, he pulled guard, and acted like he was going for a straight armbar. When he pulled my arm back to defend he slapped on a lightning quick keylock, and I had to tap. It was a bit embarrissing, but its only rededicated me more for training.
If you did not understand a word of the above paragraph, then just imagine me getting disqualified in the first round for ripping the arm off my opponent. I know that's how I would prefer to remember it.
The rest of the weekend in vegas was stupid amounts of fun though. It was myself, Seanbaby and Sita hanging out for all of Saturday night. Highlights include:
- Flirting with a Klingon at the Star Trek Resteraunt at the Hilton.
- Drinking INSANE amounts of alcohol at said resteraunt.
- At some point, dry humping the mermaid statue at the Mirage.
- Magician extrordinair, Steve Dacri and his mystical plastic bunnies.
- Winning a free 2:30 in the morning dinner at the Imperial Palace.
Oh, and some surprise news, my old friend Annie from Chaminade is coming to L.A. to visit in the first part of December. I was planing a Portland trip around that time, but I'll have to push it off since me and Annie haven't seen each other in several years. Hopefully some hardcore make outs won't be out of the question.
