So, I'm out on Christmas eve and I see the tree lots blowing the trees out for $5 or so and I had the following thought:

You know your dad's really cheap when, not only does Santa bring the presents, but he brings the tree as well.

I think there's potential in a "my dad's so cheap" monologue.

One of the nice things about living in a place like AK is that you don't see the obnoxious Left on the march much. The only place I've seen Christmas shunted aside in the parade of "Happy Holidays" was on a college campus banner. Menorah? Check. Crescent moon for Ramadan? Check. Christmas tree? Christmas tree? Uh.....

I really need to focus.

I'm spending too much time not being logical and scientific about things.

I've had many great successes lately at problem troubleshooting at work. I just wish that life were as easy to fix as a Cyberlight.

Needed to replace the car battery today.

Quite a weird situation. It turns out that the last battery installed was the wrong type, but now the new one won't fit in the old battery mounts that were cut to fit the wrong battery.

Back to Pep Boys.

Today was a pretty good day.
