Hmm,
So, more days spent editing. I need a life. Nothing but bad eating habits, too many hours in an uncomfortable chair, and far,far too much weed.
Next week I have the dubious pleasure of recording with someone that I have been a fan of since my teenage years. Weird, caught between feeling starstruck about it and feeling trepidation knowing that the guy is a bit of an ex-acid head and awkward to work with. Hmm. Should be interesting, I'll keep you posted.
Regardless, many changes of life lie afoot. I figure it's time I took care of a few things. Clear out cobwebs and perhaps pay a little more attention to health and finance. I've had it easy for the last year or so with little to challenge me and a comfortable routine.
But truth is it's not really been getting me anywhere, at least not where I want to be anyway. So time to stir things up. If the last few months have taught me anything it's that my potential far exceeds my opinion of myself. So time to change that balance and maybe move on a few steps while I'm at it.
On a lighter note (ahem), I'm p-r-o-b-a-b-l-y going to volunteer for the MS Society Bigfoot Walk this year. I did it last year as a walker and raised about 800 quid, which was cool. But this year I fancy it as a helper more so. My best friend, his sister and my best Irish friend's wife all have MS, so it's a topic close to my heart.
I recommend it to anyone by the way. I smoke A LOT, am quite, quite unfit - and still did the damn thing in good time wearing SANDALS! Had the same blisters as everyone else but at least my feet didn't smell .
Tomorrow I tell a secret to someone I love. I can't wait.
Enough already, a bed awaits and it's mine, ALL MINE I TELL YOU!
See you soon, baboon
