I got up fairly early in order to bring the car in for an inspection. It sounds like the Petro-Canada has to order new tires, but if I let them do that, they won't charge me for labor, which I like. I haven't used to the car too much over this last two years because the bus system here generally makes things easier rather than harder, and it still seems to run well. Given that, I don't feel too worried about having to have a bunch of work done to the car. I just need the fluids changed and new tires, and I should be good to go. I got a new Triple-A membership a couple of days ago, and I reactivated the account for my Virgin Mobile cell phone, I just can't program the phone until we're in the States again. We're basically all set for the road trip other than cleaning out the car and loading it with all of our stuff.
In order to satiate my hunger, I decided to try to make egg in the basket. It tasted pretty good, and if I ever decide I want fried eggs over-easy with toast all in one bite, I'll make it again.
