The other day I found out a friend has terminal cancer, and I have to call her.
I am at a loss as what to say. I just dont know...

Things look a bit up at least I have beer money. Nothing for food, but beer money. wink

I'm so fucking broke. Haven't been this broke in a few years. Trying to help mom out with cash but don't think its helping. I feel like I am enabling her, to be insane...

I'm out of practice. Ive forgotten how to scrape by on the cheap. Was going to get some goodies but had to cancel that. whatever Maybe next week. Crosses fingers.

The search for a good bar continues.

Wow, I don't know anything about bars any more. It's been a while since I drank ... but even longer since I went to cool places to do it. That makes me sad a little. I mean, not about the alcohol, I don't mind being sober, but I did used to love a good bar.

Finaly broke down and went to the DR. to get rid of this bird flu.

Go to the doctor...four days of antibiotics and I was fine. Of course, I suffered with it for days before going. Nothing over the counter worked...just made me feel crappier.

Just cough in a jar and leave it out at a bus stop somwhere or something. Eventually, someone will pick it up...

It might not help you get over it any faster but sharing might cheer you up a little!!!!

Went to see "Letter's From Iwo Jima" tonight . Awesome movie.

Then Laundry. I hate laundry. Complete waist of time. I went and bought new underwear hoping I could put off doing it for a few more days but no such luck.

Doing laundry does suck...just lower your "smell test" standards and keep going. Although getting my own washer/dryer was lifechanging. I've never been so springtime fresh, static free and huggably soft in my life.

Reverend Horton Heat, Junior Brown and the Legendary Shack Shakers show was great. I'm not sure when Moshing got involved but then I have some Bob Wills in my collection. The Shack Shakers were immencly entertaining.

Camping was cold but not too bad. Red rock is a beautiful area. Ill post an image when they are sorted.

Yes...I did stop in Jerome on the recommendation of a friend. Cool little place. It is funny how most of the "historic" buildings were brothels maintained by the mining company to attract workers (and take their wages back).
