Not too late to rediscover that, but you will find that the way people relate to each other in college is only found in college - as redundant as that sounds. After you leave that place, nobody lives right down the hall or road from you anymore, the spontaneity is lessened. If you are lucky, you will still live in the same town or near the same town as some of your friends afterwards. If not, you will make new friends. Probably, since you are the type who likes jumping off high rocks into deep water, you will make friends who would also like to do that. And when you hang out with them, you may find yourself randomly jumping into water. . . but the tightknit group of friends most of us find in college seems to break up afterwards. I still remarkably keep in touch with almost every single one of my college friends, even though they mostly live in other states. I see them more often than any of them see each other anymore. I seem to be the one to keep everyone in touch. When we get together, we still will be spontaneous and go to the beach at night and skinnydip, or go hiking, or whatever. So don't lose hope! Life is still a lot of fun after college, and if you do still talk to the friends you keep now, you will find that your relationships with them deepen afterwards with all the life experience.
