Welly welly welly welly well...
So the show. Ah, yes, the show. Good stuff I must say. I haven't fully taken it all in and maybe that is the reason for me wishing to yak about it so quickly. So as to have it fresh in my mind.
So yeah, went there with Evil_Homer, an amazingly cool cat, and the more so I hang out with him the more I realize this. Met up with a large handful of my friends from Chico and had a drink or two (or three) with them. I miss those darn boys and girls .
So the Faint played and I ran to the dance floor like a little school girl....But, what do you know, nobody is freakin' dancing. It is really annoying trying to dance when everyone is standing around you with their arms crossed acting like you are totally putting them out. Its the Faint...If you are gonna stand front and center YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO FUCKING DANCE. Maybe they should have played "Passives" and put the fear of self-conciousness into them. Anywho. It was cool non-the-less. They even covered Neutral Milk Hotel's "Holland 1945", which was so brillianly unexpected that I almost pooped in my L.E.I.'s and the fact that noboby had any idea what they were doing even made it better.
The between sets I crossed paths with the gorgeous Coco for like .02 seconds before trying to find some sort of spot to see Sir Conor. Then he came on. It was great. The bastard did it again. I stuck around for the encore, which I guess was two songs too many for the Chico crowd who decided to bounce out with nothing more than "We'll see you later" over the phone. Anyway, now I got a splitting headache and I need to lay down before my head slams against the wall..
Love love love...
love love love..
love is what I need.

Damn.. I just looked at your previous journal. This was the first I'd ever heard of the Calvin and Hobbes collection... You should have put a "spoiler alert" or otherwise warned me, because now I need a new pair of pants...
