I've came to the conclusion that it doesn't matter how much I drink, I'm gonna still have a splitting headache of a large caliber either way. Be it two drinks or ten, I have a hell of a time making through the next day without it feeling like the bridge of my nose has been smacked with a ballpen hammer
I've also come to the conclusion that I cannot stand the yuppies that drive through the city in their BMW's, cutting in and out of traffic, riding peoples asses, and otherwise making driving a little more hellish for everyone else just because they are massive pricks.
After a long talk with a friend who came into town last night I came to the conclusion that not only will the degree I am working on in college never come it usefull, but it it most likely have me ending up working a job that will do nothing more than assure that if (and when) I prematurely end it all, it will be in a suit and tie. College makes sense for those shooting for a nice house, a wife and 2.5 kids...you know the 'American Dream'. I, however, would consider myself sucessful if I died of old age and knew I wasn't responsible for pushing a child into this (add your adjective here) world. So you can sort of see how school and me don't mesh. However, I have no idea what I would be doing if I wasn't in school. So, in the meantime, being in it is at least postponding the innevitable.
Lastly...
Yeah, I heard a funny thing
Somebody said to me
You know that I could be in love with almost everyone
I think that people are
The greatest fun
And I will be alone again tonight my dear
-Love

Wow, after re-reading this I see that on paper I look like just one big raincloud of doom. That isn't really the case in real life...
...in real life I do a really good job of hiding the fact that I am actually a big raincloud of doom.

*gigglez* the dancefloor pic isn't as revealing as it sounds
but you can see in the comments section here
As far as good shows go (you asked about that last week in my journal... it's been a while) - Noisepop has some good shows coming up - Nada Surf with Velvet Teen is the best indie/emo show so far this year, Mates of State should rule, and Hot Hot Heat with Louis XIV should be fun as hell.
