Ahhh, I flew to close to the sun on wings of pastrami and my friends list has now been resorted to simply names and no photos...I feel strangly alone and disconnected, and even more so than normal.

I just now figured out that the pastrami crack was from an old Seinfeld. I need to be a little more careful when reciting pop culture quotes if...

You can always quote Golden Girls to me. That is my favorite show. tongue

I love your journal entries lately.

Have to go serve people waffles now,

The cookies were a success. Which is weird because I usually totally fuck up anything I am making for the first time. The first time I made Sietan Philly "cheese steaks" it gave me and my friend horrible stomach aches and then we both slept for 14 hours straight surreal

Anyway, enough of my near death experiences.

Time to break out my skinny black tie and...

maybe not!! It was with a bunch of drunk punks... months ago.. with Jared, Travis and a bunch of others.. Excuse me for looking like an idiot - I get names and faces mixed up all the time. damn me.. but look at the positive side.. I always make a new friend. ooo aaa
evil_homer:
Haha! I remember you from the Bear! Don't worry, I was too drunk to take any offense to any aloofness in your attitude. To tell the truth, that's how I often act when out in Chico too, having long since given up on randomly running into other interesting and like-minded people who I don't already know. So do you (or did you) go to school at Chico State as well or were you just with some friends?

...Hmm, do you like Donnie Darko? confused
Oh, and great crushes, by the way!

I came home and napped waaaayyy to long after work so now it is 4:30 in the AM and I don't see sleep in the near future. I'm not too worried though since I was given tommorow (i mean today in all reality) off with pay. So now i have nothing pressing to do except read some books I just checked out and bake some...

Sleeping the day away isn't so bad. Just think of the peace of mind you're getting. Why is it that at odd times in the night/early morning you always get though erges to do things like bake? Cookies sound good right now!

that sounds like sucha good plan- cookies plus reading. RIP Elliot Smith. God I love him. what sort of cookies?

two of my favorite albums are also the hardest ones for me to listen to. im sure there is a link there and one doesn't have to dig to hard to find it. Fevers and Mirrors and Lifted... were pretty much the soundtrack of my life a little over a year ago and when one came out of the cd player the other surely went...

Thank you for the cookbook recomendation. Those girls on the cover are quite attractive.

Your journal entry is very honest and made me feel a sympathetic heart-pang.

I mainly wanted to see my last pointless ramble disappear, thus the new entry. Here is another pointless one but at least it is a little more recent.

I honestly can't think of anything to say though. I guess I'm becoming a tired hack in the field of journal entries as of late.

I need to start reading more again. Half way through every semester...

Amazon.com has a TON of Edward Gorey stuff including works that have his dracula stuff. The woman picture is from a story called the Audrey-Gore (murder or mystery- I'm too lazy to go look), but she's one of the characters... it's one of the books I haven't had enough follow through on to tell you about, it lays out plot lines different endings and such.... an interactive story.
Go look there, you'll be able to find soooooo many things that my recomendations won't help. Anything is good. Believe me.
rosemarie:
I just hoped that you weren't bored. It was so good to meet you. You are so cute and nice. I am glad you came, even if it was just for a little while, and you are certainly invited to the next one too.

How did Disney ever get it's hand's into the whole Alice in Wonderland pot? surreal Now their gonna finish an incompleted Salvidor Dali movie/cartoon. Something like Fantasia on even more drugs... Those bastards alway keep you guessing. Spreading consumerism across the developing world yet making movies the stress the importance of a natural "circle of life", and having a little kiddy amusement park and also owning...

Yes, I can see how being passed out in your friend's car can turn the entire cogs of society around! Goodness grief man, that's unbelievable.
So is Auburn a small town? I had an employee from there and I was wondering what the chances of you knowing her would be.... but you two are nothing alike so it would only be by chance. Her name is Ashlie Cambell. So yeah.
Have you found yourself indulged in Gorey yet? Been to Barnes and Noble lately? -If there is one near you- Otherwise, I'm going to have to help you fix that... the world is a better place when people know Gorey.
ARRR!!! !

Well I can see that last journal entry was a hit! I will try not to be such a downer in the future. I think I enjoy picking myself apart more anyway. I find it to be a topic everyone can agree on.

*I am Billy's currently raging temper and disgust*

Well I've been doing lots of reseach for my Environmental Studies project on veganism and alot of facts, numbers and images have been sucked into my brain as of recently. But the other day I got the fucking kick to head when the care package from PETA came and enclosed was the infamous "Meet Your Meat" video...

I don't know, probably understanding. A little vague, I know, but for everyone to just be able to better communicate... understand the reasonings of some... and the meanings of others. I would love to do that....

let us re-analyze life once again.

Saturday started out somewhat swimmingly. I was on my way out of town to visit some friends in the bay and I got one of those fuzzy memories I always get when the weather makes some sort of change. Like how when it rains the asphalt smells like melted crayons and I get vivid thought of being 10 and...

Wow. I just got my first call from the credit card company, wanting to know where their money is, and why I continued to charge things to it once I had passed my limit. I told her I kept spending because I just wanted too see what would happen. She didn't think that was funny. So, long story short, looks like I'm off the Coachella bandwagon. mad mad mad

I really need to learn to master that concept of finding a happy medium. Last weekend I was only at home for a total of .00367 hours and this weekend I didn't leave the house except to go rent a movie. (lost in translation...i mean it's billy murray how can you not love it?) Each time I say "that's the last time I do that..."....

the hippest guy I know has a silver apple laptop. And silver apples is a band that only hipsters know about. thus, apple products= hipster.
