The world traveler is back. Ok, don't laugh. I was really only gone for 26 hours, but damn was it fun. I was sad to not get to hook up with LiLmIsSMoRbId... frown but our schedule's did not permit.

I took lots of pictures and was paid to explore the city, basically. It rocked. What's the coolest place you've ever been? biggrin

I spent the majority of a beautiful Saturday afternoon at a wedding where I knew no one. In addition, they weren't just marrying each other, but God as well. Needless to say, fun fun fun.

At least they had an open bar! Shitfaced for free! Praise Jesus! biggrin

I can completely relate to your family situation. My brother, while not bipolar, is fucked up in his own right. I know what it is like to have your family affected by one person.

I am sorry your weekend was not as it was planned. I am happy that Jon is strong both physically and mentally.

Mmm, classes are actually ok so far. I just kind of had an "Oh my g-d it's an hour before classes on the first day, I don't want to go anymore!!!" freak-out. biggrin

I am a classical humanities major (latin, greek, dead Roman/Greek guys, all that good stuff). So this quarter I'm taking, advanced Latin, Greek Historians, Greek Art & Archaeology, and just because I can, first year Russian.

I joined a gym today! Lifestyles for ladies only. Woot. It was so fun. I love the machines and the convenience and the atmosphere. The measuring of the hips and thighs? Not so fun... whatever
