This week I went to a temp agency my mom set me up with, and now they already have an assignment for me for the next 2-3 months. It's as an administrative assistant at an educational travel school. It means I will have to significantly reduce my hours at the Japanese school, although I don't want to leave completely.
I wrote my boss an email because I wanted to talk to him. And when he wrote back, he said he'd meet with me, and when he does, he would appreciate knowing my availability now through December. I'm wondering if he was planning to give me more classes? I obviously can't go back on the temp position now, and the truth is that it's more reliable and would be more money anyway.
Oh well. I'll have to see what happens. I know even if I leave the Japanese school now, my boss should give me a good reference. I have other good references too. I can find a good job in Japan.
I'm going to start writing to schools in Kyoto sooner rather than later.
The work for my TESOL course is turning out to be, not difficult, but more time-consuming than I thought.
I have so much grading in the next two weeks.
There's just so much changing right now!
