I spent the day at my alma mater with my former professor who has become my friend and mentor. Talking to him always makes me feel better about my life. He also introduced me to a new professor at the college who's in my field, and talking to her gave me a lot of perspective and made me feel more positive.
I went on a date last night. It was OK. I'm going to go out with the guy again. I don't know if I'm ready for this. And because I'm an idiot and my life is ridiculous, I have three more dates this week. One of them is someone's son I don't care that much about meeting, but who knows? Another is a guy who reminds me of my brother, which could be good or bad. The last one I'm excited about: an old friend who moved back to NYC.
