I had a long talk with my most recent (very recent, in fact) ex today. It was good. We both agreed that we're in very different places emotionally, and it would be better for us to be friends. I feel relieved. In my mind, the worst case scenario for me would have been that things would get uncomfortable at the dojang, but now that he and I have cleared the air I think it will be OK.
And absolutely no more sex with people at the dojang. I know there were only two, but it takes the focus away from training. Besides, I realized that I look at any situation I walk into-- whether it be a school, a job, a party-- like a checklist. Who can I have sex with? And that's just not how I want to see other people or myself in relation to them.

Reconciling with my friend was the highlight of my day. The strain on the relationship was all my fault and I thought that I had screwed things up for good between us. I'm very happy that I was wrong.
In the meantime, please keep in mind that in me, you have someone you can count on to be a friend to you. My schedule has become more flexible for the time being if you'd like to get together some time.
