I'm doing another martial arts tournament the weekend before Thanksgiving. I'm excited! I'm definitely doing forms and sparring; I have to decide if I'll do Hapkido (self-defense/joint locks/takedowns).

Thanks. It's the long-term possibilities that I'm most excited about. This is the first time since I re-entered the lifestyle that I feel the way I do about someone who I can actually hope can provide something beyond friendship and/or play.

What grade do you teach? If you're teaching a writing class, I probably wouldn't get shook up on what one of your students wrote. It probably was a general "you". As long as you don't open all your classes with "If only I could find someone to drink wine with me, waltz with me, and kiss me behind my ear", I'd say you're o.k.
