Just read Bertrand Russell's argument that existence is determining that the future will resemble the past, because what was the future has constantly become the past, and has always been found to resemble the past, so that we really have experience of the future, namely of times which were formerly future, which we may call past futures. Then I fell asleep and dreamt of going on the Ghost Train over and over.
No, really!
Now I am attempting to write 2000 words on his theory of Induction and co-existence, and thus, existence itself.
*BRAIN FRIES AND DIES*
It's like trying to define definition. FUCKING HARD.
But fun
Gis ya thoughts on existence then...

LOL Sounds like you're enjoying the course so far . It is definitely the thing that freaks me out the most about studying philosophy...how big the essay questions are compared to how small the expected word count.

The ghost train and the dream and the mirror and the UFO and the Grail and the times that call us back and the things we make up to define us and the magic words we use...well, it all ain't, kinda.
