So, day one at work went well. Err, 'cept for my car not starting downtown in the Public Market parking garage. Good thing I have a jumpstart kit. Plugged in to the wall, charging back in NH, mind you, with my last load of stuff. Due to the amount of accidents and such in Monday night's storm, I had to freeze my nuts off for an hour waiting for help to arrive. All's well that ends well, my feet thawed about by 11 last night. Nuts by midnight.
Today was much better, I made fewer mistakes at work, and happened to meet a few people working there that I had dealt with in the past over the phone at my old job. Small world, radio is. I just discovered we have a Tim Horton's in South Portland, so I'll have to see what that hype is all about tomorrow. The coffee here in the hotel is brewed ass dribblings (with non-dairy creamer optional).
At some point in the next 24 hours, it's laundry time. Anyone want to help me fold underthings...
