Now, I must say it is time to update again. Even if what I wrote in my last update was so wonderful and one of the best thing, no I have to say the best thing ever happened in my life.
The Queens Birthday Long Weekend we went for a little get away up north.
After we watched the Soccer World Cup opening Ceremony plus the game Germany-Costa Rica afterwards in the City and had a nice long sleep in on Saturday, we went for a short drive in one of the close by National Parks for a little look for whales.
On Sunday morning we got in the car after we packed a few things and drove up north on pacific highway. We did a nice scenic tour through all the little towns.
After about 3 hours we got to Stephens Point. It got very cold and windy and we started looking for a hotel.
And indeed we found a very nice one. A hotel resort and spa! We had a nice apartment facing the water and luckily it was a sunny morning so we could have a good look from our balcony.
One of the treats for ourselves was a big Aussi Buffet Breakfast.
After a climb up to a Lookout we saw lots of Dolphins which surfed along the big waves.
No whales today because the sea was to rough, they obviously dont come up and to shore in the big waves.
On our way back to Sydney we stopped at the sand dunes around Williamtown. Looks like in the Sahara there. They have 4WD tours there and lots of other things to do. We did a Camel Ride. Very unique and better than in a car. We got shaken around on a dessert animal and not in a dessert vehicle.
It is an amazing area there, you come out of the dessert and over the dunes there is a huge and very very long beach. Right next to rain forests and main roads.
Thats what I like so much about Australia so many different and amazing sceneries right next to each other.
Now back to Sydney, back in our cozy house, snuggling up and mentally get ready for another work week. (Short work week)
The boss and I had a long talk a couple weeks ago and now everything is all good again. We also have more jobs signed up and are fairly busy at the moment. Next week well move office and shop to a new bigger and more practical place. Looking forward to that even if it means lots of work and even more crap to move.
All for now maties. And go Aussi Go in the World Cup, stay at least 2 weeks in our beautiful country
Go Germany Go Go Go AND GO
